So, we can pinpoint enemy movement with the sound of footsteps and weapon reloads and gunshots, sounds of vehicles like tanks along smoothly. So especially when you’re playing a first-person shooter there is a big difference from comparing with the surround sound of other gaming headsets.

The SteelSeries arches 3 comes with that classic design that we’ve come to know and love from the SteelSeries with a microphone that can retract into the left ear cup when you don’t use it. So, the Arctic 3 has a pretty nice clean design that’ll look good in any daily situation.
When we look around this gaming headset, we obviously have the sort of a ski goggles headband up the top with a wide solid texture. The ear cups also have the same smooth texture along with rubberized backings as well. It doesn’t have any lights and only comes in a dark gray color and white color.

There’s no sub-adjustable in height wise to the ear cups. Although the ear cups do swivel and rotate. So, they actually fit basically any head pretty well and we can rest it on our shoulders comfortably. SteelSeries Arctis 3 is an obviously closed-back headset. So, it does not leak your sound to the outside.
Now you have a little bit more chance of actually being a nice passenger on the train, the bus, or whatever you’re traveling on. Because you can listen to your music not having everyone on the bus hear your music. With this closed-back design, this headset is doing a good job at passive noise canceling as well.

SteelSeries Arctis 3 Bluetooth: Battery Life
SteelSeries Arctis 3 Bluetooth headset has a specified battery life, especially for gaming. Because it is up to 28 hours of battery life with active listening. We can see this battery life has been more than a day. This is one of the longest battery lives I ever reviewed. So, we can use this headset wirelessly for longer sessions with this long battery life.
steelseries.com |
When it comes the charging the battery, it takes almost 4 hours primarily to fully charge. But unfortunately, there’s no support for any fast charging technology. The battery charging is done through the built-in micro USB port on the left earcup as I mentioned before.
So, we are free to continue using the headset while it’s being charged. We also can still use it in wired mode even if the battery is completely drained as well. This option is very useful if the battery is in the dead middle of a game. but honestly, with this long battery life, it can’t be dead if you put it to charge while you are sleeping or do not work with it.
