LucidSound L35X gaming headset is retail at 180$ on the LucidSound website. When it comes to the inside of the box there is a free hard case with the LS35X. We can also find the manual and the warranty card in it.
The headset is in the hard case and it provides easy storage and protection for the headset. The hard case also has a mesh pouch inside with the detachable boom microphone, the charging cable that included a 3.5-millimeter cable, and also a small cover for the microphone port when the detachable microphone is not in use.

LucidSound L35X gaming headset has a normal design like everyday headphones and does not have any aggressive game restyling or RGB lighting. Most of the body is made from metal, so the metal frame feels solid and looks sleek.
The top headband is blazoned with the brand name LucidSound across the top and it gives a cool outlook for the gaming headset. The headband cushion has some pattern stitching for a touch of flair.
The earcups can be removable and swivel for fit and rotate 90 degrees to be laid flat. So we can put this headset around our neck comfortably when we not using the headset. The ear cushions are memory foam, so it not the thickest in size but when we wear the headset we can feel dense.

When it comes to the controls of this LucidSound L35X gaming headset, they are unique from the other gaming headsets in the market. There are no small wheels and buttons for controls as well.
There are large wheels on the outside of the left earcup for controlling the master volume and on the outside of the right earcup for controlling the game in chat balance.
When we quick press the middle of the right ear cup, it mutes the microphone which has a red indicator to let you know it is muted. A long press of the right ear cup turns on or off microphone monitoring. The quick press of the left ear cup, it mutes the game sound.
We can see the power button on the bottom of the left side and the charging port, the 3.5-millimeter port, and the port for the detachable boom microphone for a multiplayer chat as well. When the press the left ear cup button, it can control a supported variety of devices like the iPhone as well.
This gaming headset also has a discreet built-in microphone which could be used for calls on your phone when utilizing a 3.5-millimeter cable. The pairing button is located on the right ear cup. So the pairing process of this LucidSound LS35X gaming headset is as simple as connecting the controller because it doesn’t need any USB dongle or base station for the process. We only have to press the sync button on the Xbox and headset, it will sync just only five seconds.

This gaming headset has a little bit more range of control of adjustment size range. We can slide up and down on the frame. So if you are an Xbox console gamer that has a larger head, I can recommend the LucidSound LS35X gaming headset for comfortable gaming.

The Sound on the LucidSound LS35X gaming headset, it is pretty good. But there is no adjustable EQ or presets. Fortunately, there is a sound feature called stock sound signature sounds that are really good in the mids and highs come in clear. The base is also punchy but sometimes it extends just a little too much into the mid-range but not so much so that it is not a bad point.

This gaming headset has a detachable boom-type microphone that has good voice reproduction. So the microphone can fully remove from the headset and we have to keep it safe without misplacing. We can connect the microphone easily and it is super flexible that can bend any direction and any sort of combination. It is also quite long.

Even the LS35X is Officially Licensed for Xbox One, it also works with PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Mac, iOS, and Android with a wired connection but not with the newest mobile phones. To charge the LS35X gaming headset, we have to connect the included micro-USB cable to any powered USB port. If the headset is turned off, the power LED will pulse while charging and glow solid when fully charged. It also has 15-hour battery life. So you can play a one-day gaming session with a single charge.
