So, I can recommend the Logitech Lightspeed G733 headset because this is the most beautiful wireless gaming headset in the gaming headset space I have ever seen. It looks fantastic. This wireless gaming headset comes in several different colors. So, the black version is the main color headset, and you can also get it in Blue, White, or Lilac color themes.

Logitech G733: Pros and Cons
Pros | Cons |
Great surround sound with strong Directional sound. Comfortable and Lightweight Design. Gorgeous colorful options. Last Long battery life with 29-hour playback time. G Hub software has extensive options. Detachable Microphone. Affordable price tag. | Ear cups don’t rotate and limited adjustment options. Poor mic quality. No Bluetooth or wired connection. The plastic feels cheap. No support for Xbox. |
Logitech G733: Design
The design looks sleek it looks futuristic and it also mainly comes in white. As I mentioned before the Logitech has really put effort into the aesthetics this time around with all the other available color options as well that carries across into all the products in the new light speed range. The headset uses different textures on each part of the headset it’s predominantly matte white. But it has got some gloss accents as well which just give it some extra dimension.

There is a customizable suspension head strap design. It is also removable and replaceable. We can actually go on Logitech’s website and purchase the head straps separately if you want more. The head strap has two adjustments on it and dual colors on each side. They have a bunch of different colors as well. There is a head strap that comes with this particular headset though called purple glitch which looks absolutely beautiful. It’s got a very neon vibe and contrasts nicely with the rest of the headset. If you like to use a headset with nice colors, you will like it.

When it comes to the exterior of the headset, is an old plastic construction, but actually feels rather nice. It’s having a soft rubberized finish to it in places and there’s plenty of flex in the headband. It never feels like it’s going to snap. We can actually twist the headset out 180 degrees in either direction. Not that we do ever want to do that, but it just gives us an idea of how great and flexible this design is. There’s also a nice chrome logo on each side of the headset along with the model number subtly embossed just above the ear cups. Overall, it just feels very sturdy nothing rattles around or feels janky when we shake it which is always a good sign.
Logitech G733: Controls and Connectivity
In terms of the connectors and the Controls of the Logitech Lightspeed G733, on the left ear cup, we got the input for putting the microphone. We can take that out in other words it is detachable which is quite cool. We are looking at the end of the microphone connection there’s a line there. So, we just got to ensure when you push it in it goes all the way in and the line disappears then you know you’ve pushed it in sufficiently.
Then on the back side of the left earcup, there is a microphone mute switch which we can actually reassign that mic mute button to do pretty much anything we want. Like literally anything we want like we can even launch programs with it if we really want with the Logitech software.
amazon.com |
Next, we have a scroll wheel for the volume up and down. Then at the bottom of the left ear cup, there is the power button so you can actually turn them off completely. There are no controls on the right ear cup. There is a wireless dongle, and this is what provides wireless functionality to the headset.
We can find the headset is muted or unmuted by it we get a color indication at the front. So, red for muted and green for unmuted and it gives a slight sound as well. If you wanted to know if it was at maximum volume, you also get noise when you go to maximum but nothing at minimum.
The wireless range on this gaming headset is around 20 meters. It’s got a G logo on there and a matte black finish all the way around. If we plugged it into a pc, we still need that wireless dongle to be plugged in to continue using the headset the headset does rely on that dongle for wireless connectivity.
Logitech G733: Comfort
Comfort is one of the most important things in any gaming headset. Because if it is not comfortable for long sessions even if it has premium performance, we don’t like to use it. But this Logitech Lightspeed G733 wireless gaming headset is extremely comfortable. The ear cushions are made of gray fabric and fabric is the best material for ear cushions. Because it doesn’t get hot like Leatherette does.
logitechg.com |
These ear cushions also have a good amount of dual-layer memory foam padding as well. So, we can see if we push it down the memory foam goes in and just slowly comes back up. These ear cushions are removable as well. So, we can take it off for cleaning. We can wear these things for long sessions gaming sessions without an issue and we don’t experience any discomfort. The ear cups are a good size to fit any size of ears. The ear pads have an indication of the side, so it goes on so obviously, “R” for the right-hand side and then we got “L” there on the left-hand side.
The headset is a very lightweight headset as well that coming in at only 278 grams. The headband suspension system works well and it is comfortable for the top of the head. We can say they’ve definitely taken some inspiration from SteelSeries in this regard. The ear cups also slide up and down to accommodate different head sizes. When we move the ear cups, we can see the step counts are just there on both sides. So, we can recommend this gaming headset who find a comfortable gaming headset for big heads. It’s just an overall really comfortable headset.
Logitech G733: Microphone
When it comes to the microphone of Logitech Lightspeed G733, it is detachable that comes with a 3.5-millimeter connector and we can bend it. The microphone stays in place pretty well when we bend it side to side. However up and down not so much. As regards mic quality, there are various settings that we can play with in the G Hub software. The software actually has a plug-in built in from blue microphones called the Blue Voice.
amazon.com |
It’s essentially a bunch of EQ presets for the microphone to get it to sound a little bit better. One of the cool features of this software is we can record a sample of our voice within the software and then have it play it back for you on repeat while we toggle each preset to see which one you like the sound of most. We can also make custom presets as well and it’s pretty neat.
Logitech G733: RGB Lighting
When we talk about an RGB lighting in a gaming headset the placement of the RGB lighting is an important fact, especially for streamers. So, Logitech has opted to put the RGB lighting on the front of the headset this time around. Streamers are going to love the RGB placement because the viewers can actually see lighting that you spend the extra money for RGB lighting on the gaming headset when you are streaming.
It literally makes no sense for RGB lighting to be on the back because nobody’s ever going to see it. Gamers who wear glasses also do not experience the RGB lighting reflecting off the edges of their lenses most of the time. So that will not be an issue. We can turn off the RGB lighting altogether in the software but that’s not why we bought an RGB gaming headset.
amazon.com |
RGB lighting actually looks really nice because it has two lighting zones. So, the top half can be a different color from the bottom half, and they kind of blend together toward the middle. Not only that but also, we can have the top half do a different effect to the bottom half. So, if we wanted to have the top half breathed red while having the bottom cycle through the color spectrum.
We can adjust the speed of each effect and the brightness. We can also sync your lighting across several devices if you happen to own more than one Logitech product which is always nice. Finally, we can say Logitech Lightspeed G733 does a great job with the RGB lighting, and it looks clean.

Logitech G733: Sound Quality
This headset has a 40-millimeter driver and let’s see how they actually sound compared to other gaming headsets in the market Logitech Lightspeed G733 is really good for First Person Shooter gamers. They also sounded really good in the highs as well. So, this gaming headset is one of the most well-rounded wireless gaming headsets and they sounded great.
logitechg.com |
The sound quality is good in the headset itself. In terms of the whole immersive feel and gaming-wise, it is very good. We do get a good perspective of things around us. So, we can hear footsteps in the background it will sort of clearly give us that indication if it’s at the side or behind us. So, it is quite good.
Not only for gaming but also when we are listening to music and watching movies and just all around is a really good-sounding headset for all kinds of media consumption. Then through the Logitech software, we can sort of finely change those EQ settings to really get it dialed into what our personal preference is. Overall, we can say Logitech Lightspeed G733 wireless is the best all-rounding sounding headset.
Logitech G733: Battery Life
In terms of battery life, Logitech claimed 28 hours or sometimes 29 hours of battery life on a single charge without the RGB lighting and these numbers are very accurate. If we are going to have the RGB lighting turned on it is looking at much less than that around the 20 hours of battery life.
But even if we have the RGB lighting turned on or off we should definitely be able to get a couple of days out of these at the very least with a single charge. We can play games all day with Logitech Lightspeed G733.
amazon.com |
For recharging the battery though they have actually opted for a USB type-c connector which is so good instead of having a micro-USB. So, if we need to in a hurry just like whack them in while you’re sitting at your desk or while playing the games, we can do that.
We can get it the right way every time as well because it’s reversible. The cable length is 180 centimeters, and the cable quality feels good as well. When we are using the headset and it ran out of battery power, we can just use a power bank to charge it and use it at the same time.

When we come to the Logitech g hub software, firstly it presented how much battery life is left on the headset with a little battery icon.
Acoustics
Then there are acoustics options. So, we can play with the equalizer settings and there are also got 3 default presets as well. That Default presets are,
- Bass Boost.
- Cinematic.
- Communications.

So, you can hit record and then play it back to yourself. Then we can enable the Blue Voice technology on here. We can hear for ourselves the sudden change in the quality of sound is much better with the Blue Voice.
On the side of this section, we got equalizer settings here so low, mid, and high. We also got additional ones just to make slight adjustments on it to your exact requirements like,
- Noise Reduction.
- High-Pass Filter.
- Expander or Gate.
- De-Esser.
- Compressor.
- Limiter.
There are 8 different presets on the side as well. That Presets are,
- AM Radio.
- Broadcaster 1.
- Broadcaster 2.
- FM Station.
- High Voice – Loud.
- High Voice – Soft.
- Low Voice – Loud.
- Low Voice – Soft.
So, you can see the changes that happen to mic quality with the settings in this section. We can also save your own presets here.
Assignments
On the assignments, there’s one option we can program on the headset and that’s the mute button. So, we can actually record a macro against it or just get it to do other things. Unfortunately, there’s only one option. It would be nice if it had a couple at least. But It’s nice just having an option available to enable.
LightSync
On LightSync, we can change the lighting on the headsets. We can change the colors like the rate of the colors and changing the brightness levels. Then we’ve got sync lighting zones if we had other Logitech products with RGB lighting on there. We can get the lighting zone syncing up by clicking the sync lighting options and going in there. It will allow you to pick the products you want to sync up with. Finally in this section, we got the battery level with the percentage remaining and approximate life remaining before it needs the next charge.
Settings
Settings give some more details regarding the power consumption on the headset and the device startup effect. We can change the low battery mode with 2 color options. The options are currently set to breathing red, fixed red, and off. The notifications we can get a voice prompt for the battery level being low and desktop notifications as well. Then you’ve got power management which is if the headset hasn’t been used for a certain period it will just automatically power off after that period. There are 7-time period options with the ‘Never’ option. These are all the options that we have available in the Logitech G Hub Software and to make full use of it definitely worth installing this software.
