The Logitech G Pro X Wireless is exactly what you would expect the G Pro X wireless to be. The Pro line is really all about the core functionality of this being a solid gaming headset in Esports and at our home. Logitech really developed the whole idea behind wireless gaming headsets as being just as good as their wired headsets.
Finally, Logitech has put a USB-C connection on its gaming headset. The Logitech G Pro X Wireless is a really great wireless gaming headset on the headset market.
When we first look at this Logitech gaming headset it reminds us of the HyperX headsets with the design. The headband and the earcups just had a similar HyperX design to them.
We have the same 50-millimeter Pro G drivers from the previous G Pro headset but these have been slightly tuned and upgraded in that sense with more ability to change how they sound inside the Logitech G Hub software. First of all, let’s see the Specifications and Pros and Cons of this gaming headset briefly.

Logitech G Pro X Wireless: Comfort
As I mentioned before Logitech G Pro X Wireless is the replacement for comfortable ear pads. Both ear pads are plenty big plenty of deep. So, when we are wearing our ears will not get pinched by them or touch the inside of the driver at all.
They’re very nice and plush across both of them. The pleather ear cushion is going to hold in the sound a lot more than the cloth ear cushions. But they’re also going to hold in the heat as well and our ears get very hot with them.
logitechg.com |
So, the cloth ear cushions are the gamers’ most preferred way to go. Because these are very breathable and very suitable for long gaming sessions. We can see inside they have a lined pleather bit right in there to hold some of the sounds into them.
But unfortunately, we do get some outside noise from the cloth ear cushion. So, if we want to blackout the environmental noise around passively, we have to use pleather ear cushions.
The ear pads are very easy to change out. They pop right off, so we have to just pull it down and the replacement ear pad. The ear cup has a big lip around it. So, just put that in there and roll it around, and good to go.
The headband also has plenty of plush going all the way around. As we can see when we touch the headband cushion, it kind of holds that memory foam a little bit. So, it’s not too soft not too firm and it really holds its position as well.

Logitech G Pro X Wireless: Design
When we come to the design of this wireless gaming headset, we can see this design in quite a few headsets these days. Even going right back in line with the wire G Pro or G Pro X is pretty much the exact same.
We have the plastic ear cup with a little brushed metal Logitech logo kind of has a slight hint of blue to it. Then we have a metal arm going into the plastic bracket. We don’t have to worry about stretching or twisting this gaming headset and it goes quite easy with that medium clamping force.
amazon.com |
So, it’s not really just gripping our heads. We can expand the headband by pulling quite a bit and it gets quite big. So, this headset will fit your head no matter what if you got a big head or small head this Logitech G Pro X Wireless is going to work out.
it’s not tight and there are no pressure points or anything a very comfortable headset for long-term use. It has great durability and is lightweight. The ear cups do rotate on the yoke a little bit, but they don’t swivel. We can see with the ear cups being that plastic we got a matte coating on them, but they do attract some fingerprints and grease.

Logitech G Pro X Wireless: Controls
Let’s talk about controls on the Logitech G Pro X wireless headset. Firstly, on the left ear cup, we have our mic mute and mic active buttons. When we mute it or activate it, we can hear a tone and it’s a different tone for each. So, we know when the microphone is muted or active. Right below we have our volume wheel. When we touch this volume wheel, we can feel very smooth and easy to control.

Whenever we get to the max volume it continuously rolls. But whenever we get to the max volume it does beep and give you an indicator as well. Then we have our power switch to power on and off. When we turn on the headset, we can see a green light indicator down below. Some gamers or users love this switch, and it looks really nice.
Because pretty much all wireless headsets we’ve used we got to hold a button down for a certain amount of time then it starts beeping whenever it’s active. But here we have a power switch that can slide to turn on. It feels nice. Finally, we have our USB-C charging port and in front of that, we have our mic port for our detachable microphone.
Logitech G Pro X Wireless: Battery Life and Wireless
We can get 20-plus hours of battery life with this Logitech G Pro X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset. So, if you are charged when you are sleeping the batteries never died. Whenever we are charging it by USB-C the green light will start flashing a really slow pulse. Whenever it’s fully charged the green light will stay active and just light up. So, we can know the headset is fully charged.
We also get up to 42 feet of range with this gaming headset. So, we can walk all the way across our entire house to go get a drink out of the kitchen, and into the other room to talk to my family as well. It did not lose any sound and no lag no stutters even between two walls. The wireless connection is doing a really great job.

Logitech G Pro X gaming headset works on multiple devices like PC, MacBook Pro, PS4, and Nintendo Switch all wirelessly. It is simple and we just have simply plug it into the dongle. Unfortunately, it does not work on Xbox One. Because there’s no 3.5 jack on the headset. For most wireless headsets we have the option to go 3.5-millimeter port.
If our headset dies mid-round, we can still plug in and play while it’s charging and still be able to use it on Xbox or a different 3.5 device. So a 3.5-millimeter jack is very useful in that situation. But unfortunately, Logitech G Pro X can only be used wirelessly and has no wired option. So, this is primarily for a PC or Mac wireless gaming headset.

Logitech G Pro X Wireless: Sound Quality
There are 50-millimeter drivers with a frequency range of 20 to 20 000Hz. We should have a lot of headsets the 20 beings you’re low on your Bass and 20 000 being you’re High in your treble.
But with the Logitech G Pro even the old wired headsets, the sound is so natural and so crisp. So it same goes for the Logitech G Pro X which also means things like music and movies are going to sound really good as well. The Bass isn’t overtaken, the Highs are so potent and it’s just really nice seriously crisp.

The cool thing about these Logitech headsets have Logitech G Hub software that has so many options to adjust from surround sound. We can actually control the volume of each zone as far as the surround sound. We also have preset EQs, and we can do our own EQs as well.
However, we do have a lot of customization in the software. So, once we dive into the software, we can be able to adjust the sound to your liking. If we want more bass or if we want more highs, we get it from this software. This is really cool with it being 20Hz to 20 000Hz with all the options.
When we are playing a lot of competitive games like Call of Duty, we can really adjust the volume to hear everything like footsteps, the environment, gunshots, and explosions as well.
This is so just immersive, really punchy, and very detailed sound. Across the board on every device, we can get this awesome, great sound. But when we change the device it doesn’t save some of the settings like EQ and surround sound with the headset. So it changes to the default settings.

Logitech G Pro X Wireless: Microphone
logitechg.com |
The microphone of the Logitech G Pro X Wireless is detachable. It is quite thick and moldable including the windscreen as well. If someone likes playing without friends that don’t use a microphone that often on a headset, they will love having a detachable microphone.
Logitech G Pro X Wireless: Logitech G Hub Software.
When it comes to the software, we don’t want the headset to be too reliant on the software. Because then it’s like well what is the headset on its own really even doing. But in this case, it is definitely a good thing and it’s very extensive. We can literally adjust everything you would possibly want to adjust inside the software.
Microphone
When we select the Logitech G Pro X headset on the software firstly, we can see the microphone section. So, we can adjust the microphone volume from here. The cool thing about this software is when you enable the blue voice there is a little record button that we can record our voice and keep repeating itself over and over by the play button. We are going to hear it in your headset by the way. So, it is useful to hear how the EQ presets work on our voice.
After enabling the Blue Voice, we can adjust the Low, Mid, High, and 6 different advanced controls that can turn on and off if we want. They are Noise Reduction, High-Pass Filter, Expander or Gate, De-Esser, Compressor, and Limiter. We can understand these advanced controls by the question mark in front of each control. It gives you a quick summary of what it does
It has a slider to adjust the master output level. Below that it has pro/ Broadcast presets named G2 Caps, G2 kennyS, TSM Bjergsen, TSM Chico, and TSM Myth like that. There are Blue Voice presets that are good for streams as well. They are AM Radio, Broadcaster 1, Broadcaster 2, FM Station, High Voice – Loud, High Voice – Soft, Low Voice – Loud, and Low Voice – Soft.
Acoustics
Next, we have the acoustics section which is we get our Surround sound and where we can adjust the volume of each zone. This is an interesting and different feature that just kind of standout is like a basic EQ or like just Bass and Treble for each zone. Not necessarily volume, because there are a lot of surrounds, and sounds in other gaming headsets which are we still get kind of hollow distance.
logitechg.com |
But in Logitech G Pro X Wireless surround sound is really cool and innovative to have a next step. Here we also can adjust the volume, mic, and sidetone. Below that we have 4 DTS Super Stereo modes that can adjust your basics right there. They are Off, Front, Wide, and Traditional.
Equalizer
Finally, we have the equalizer settings. We just have two sliders to adjust our Bass and Treble easily. There are Advanced settings just like with the microphone settings where we can activate or disable advanced settings. When we are gaming, this is a cool thing to activate the advanced settings. Because we have this huge range of EQ settings that can adjust manually.
We also have some presets listed over the left-hand side called Modes. They are Default, Moba, Bass Boost, Cinematic, FPS, Communications, and Flat, and we can create our own preset mode as well. We also can save these settings to our headset but not to the console. There are so many different presets and we also can download presets as well.

Verdict
As a wireless gaming headset software, Logitech G Hub is one of the best software that we can use when we are gaming. There’s a lot involved in it and almost overwhelming. This headset comes especially for streamers, content creators like YouTubers, or broadcasters as well. If you’re working from home or if you’re on conference calls from home Logitech G Pro X Wireless is a great option to have.

Because it sounds great and there are options that you can really adjust for your environment or your voice. That’s where it really shines. So, it’s really nice to be able to adjust it to our preferred setting on this headset. This is overwhelming and cool to have the options.

Is Logitech G Pro X worth it?
The Logitech G Pro X Wireless is retail priced at $73.00 from Amazon and it is worth your money. Because it is really impressive what Logitech did with the G Pro X. From the design to being a lot sleeker and more minimal is great, the build quality is really good, the sound quality is great, and the mic quality is phenomenal. So again, this wireless gaming headset work as an all-in-one headset solution Because it has great-sounding drivers and a great-sounding mic with full control from the blue voice.
