Review

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 is another best headsets for PlayStation 5 and there is an Xbox version too. When it comes to comfort in this headset, the metal band is excellent and it is not a tension-adjustable band. The headband is very well padded it goes all the way edge to edge. It is also glued to it.

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2’s earcups are different than other headset earcups. Because these ear cups are removable and many gamers and other people love that feature. This headset’s ear cups are made of synthetic leather with a memory foam cushion.

It has aero-fit cooling technology which means our ears stay cool to keep ears very comfortable. If a person is concerned with pressure and discomfort these are excellent. Because the padding is very thick. This headset’s microphone is great and it is omnidirectional.

There is also can enable a noise gate built into the headset itself. So this microphone is more than adequate for gaming and if you don’t want the utmost sound quality this is also more than adequate for it. It still has low latency but it gets great quality at low latency.

Wireless stability is also great. Because according to the users they not getting any audio dropout. When it comes to sound quality these use 50-millimeter nano clear drivers. Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 has little ridges around the drivers. That is increasing the stiffness of the drivers.

So, it is giving you a better bass response, and power handling and they get extremely loud. It has really good noise isolation. So all the sound that the driver is making is getting pushed into your ear very well. There is another sweet feature of the sound quality.

It is Bluetooth and it has an audio hub app. In addition to enabling the noise gate, you can set custom eq profiles. There are either signature sound, bass boost, treble boost, or trebling bass, vocal boost, and superhuman hearing features. Superhuman hearing does give us a competitive edge if we only care about hearing footsteps or loot crates off in the distance.

There is a mix of how much superhuman hearing you have in this headset. If you want some dynamics but still want the competitive edge that superhuman hearing gives you set it. There are two dials on the headphone. The top one is to lock to your game volume. The second dial can be changed to function and you can make it.

So, it is Bluetooth volume, mic monitoring volume, or sidetone superhuman hearing volume. There is a mode button below the two separate dedicated dials. So if you want to enable superhuman hearing or turn it off, you can assign it to this mode button.

Because the mode button is also assignable. Then there is the power button and the Bluetooth. This is one of the best headsets for PS5. Because the wireless performance, microphone quality, and comfort of the ear cups are great.

Review

Astro A50 is a completely wireless headset. This headset can use on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox series S, and X. Astro A50 wireless headset provides a simulated 7.1 surround sound. It has been designed with gaming in mind.

This headphone is designed and professionally tuned to deliver audiophile-grade performance. In Astro A50 Gen 4, the drivers and the wireless technology are new and the sound quality is also excellent. When it comes to the EQ setting, there is a clear separation of the lows, mids, and highs.

According to the users of this headset, there have been no distorting or clipping. However, there is three audio presets in the Astro setting. that is kind of an all-purpose gaming mode with a focus on deep bass and crispy high-end pro.

When we compare it with other gaming headsets, we can see good strength and a good range of wireless signals and the latency also has been reduced. Because Astro A50 Gen 4 uses the 2.4 gigahertz wireless frequency. So you can use this headset from far away like in the kitchen or backyard and this headset still works perfectly.

We can able to communicate better with people online at the same time with loud sounds. Because the quality of the mic improved combined with being able to hear me more clearly. The base of the headset has a master volume dial and two buttons on either side.

We can mix the game and chat audio with a button to toggle the Dolby Surround from it. We can see a power button and a button to switch on the front of the base station. There have four lights that indicate how much charge the headset. It has an icon to show if Dolby has enabled an icon to indicate.

There is also a USB charge port that will charge the headset twice as fast as the cradle. Astro A50 is one of the more impressive conveniences. Because there is competition that how it saves power. So most quality wireless headsets will automatically turn off after a short period when there isn’t any audio playing through them.

But the Astro A50 uses internal gyros. It detects the movement to determine if they’re being used or not this means they are powered down if they don’t sense any movement. So we can take them off and set them down to quickly save power and the headset will power back on when you pick them up again. The A50’s appearance is unmistakable as a gaming headset most gamers love this appearance and I am confident I will get my money’s worth out of these.

05. ASUS ROG Delta S

ASUS ROG Delta S is a mid to high-range headset and it is a nice sweet spot for this headset to compete with a lot of the other brands as well. This headset has a more standard design and is a bit more plastic. We can do adjustments to make this headset larger.

ASUS ROG Delta S has soft memory foam at the top and the ear cups are also extremely soft which we will get very good comfortable while we use this headset and its leather. According to the users, these are one of the softest memory of foam padding.

Users have the option of rather switching between either the leatherette or the velour cloth ones depending on the user preference. This headset does have RGB on the sides, so if you’re streaming or if you just put it on your desk it looks nice.

When it comes to the controls, there have some controls on the left ear cup. We can see a volume rocker where you can just pop it up and down and if you press it in it does a mute. If you buy this headset, you can get a braided USB type-C cable which is around 1.5 meters long.

When you put this headset on they do a pretty good job of canceling out some of the background noise and the clamping force is actually pretty good also it does have a frequency range ranging from 20hz to 40 kilohertz. You can get your 7.1 by downloading ASUS armory crates software in-game.

It actually helped out while gaming and you can hear a lot more and you turn it off if you do not like itASUS ROG Delta S’s microphone also was amazing and there has a new feature called AI noise cancellation.

This microphone you do have a nice short detachable bendable microphone with a red LED that you can adjust to wherever you want. When it comes to the overall ear cups, microphone, sound quality, and noise cancellation the ASUS ROG Delta S is good and worth it.

Review

Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is one of the best headsets in the Razer brand and this is a wireless headset. This gaming headset separates it from some of the other headsets. Because the BlackShark V2 Pro is relying solely on impressive audio and the audio is absolutely excellent.

Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is very comfortable and has a good clamping force that is not tight and medium. This headset is THX certified and it does have 7.1 surround sound. So in headsets, we have two speakers that are trying to emulate and 50-millimeter drivers.

Razer uses their triforce drivers. It is a single driver that’s trying to emulate having three drivers. So all of these are trying to keep sounding muddy or congested and trying to give us the most out of each frequency. Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is compatible with every console like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and also PC as well.

The design and the build of the headset are also very impressive and the headset looks like an aviation-type headset. There are some hinges and a little knob on the left-hand side that allows for your volume control. Behind the left ear cup, we have your power button and then you have your mic mute button.

If you do want to use these wired that input is also on the left as well and everything right there is on the left-hand side which makes it really easy and accessible. When it comes to weight this headset has very lightweight and there is thick padding that’s on the top of the headband

So, it just makes it that much more comfortable. Razer uses memory foam in the earcups and it is very breathable. Because it has a fabric material. So, you can wear this headset for long periods and you really don’t have to worry about sweating and them getting hot.

You can use this headset for 24 hours on a single charge. This is the expectation from gamers that game for longer sessions. This headset included a removable microphone and Razer calls it a hyper clear super-cardioid mic. That means focusing more on your voice and if you’re in a noisy environment it’s trying to block out some of that noise.

If we talk about the sound of this headset, it absolutely makes these worth it and as good as the bass sounds. this headset focus is on the mids and the highs. So that’s important with gaming. Because with it we can able to hear dialogue clearly but also able to hear footsteps and directions. This headset sounds great with music as well.

Review

HyperX Cloud 2 is the best pro gaming headset. This headset has a splashy logo on the earcups, a pretty decent set of cans, and a decent mic and aggressively pushes the cans to be bass-heavy without compromising clarity for gaming.

HyperX Cloud 2 also features 7.1 virtual surround sound. amplifies your audio and voice. When it comes to the key feathers of this headset are made of an excellent aluminum frame. It has very comfortable memory foam ear cups, leatherette pads, leather headbands, and in-line audio controls.

On the inside of this headset, we can see 53-millimeter drivers and a 3.5-millimeter connection and both are compatible with PlayStation and Xbox, and PC, Mac, and Mobile Devices. HyperX Cloud 2 has a detachable microphone that the team speaks and is discord certified. This microphone did not have good noise-canceling.

But it did mute out enough of the environmental noise so the sound was loud, clear, and distinct. HyperX Cloud 2 picked up the high and low frequencies, but the difference is quite negligible. the audio processing of this headset to mix the left and right channels was pretty flawless. HyperX Cloud 2 is also great for movies and the sound quality remained crisp and clean with no noticeable loss distortion

08. Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed

Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed is a wireless headset with great build quality the build quality felt very premium for a product aimed at the gaming segment. Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed’s ear cups are a bit wider and big thick metal frame on the forks.

Faux leather is generously padded on the headband and the outside of the cups is matte soft-touch plastic. There are metal medallions with the g logo that are textured with little concentric rings. Earcups are faux leather as well very comfortable and are touching the ears all over the inside.

The ear cups particularly the leather red ones do a really good job of passive noise cancellation. Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed headset fit for any head size. We can see controls of the headset are all on the outside of the left ear cup and they are straightforward.

There is a microphone mute button, a digital volume wheel power switch, USB type-C charging port, and also a keyed location for the detachable microphone. The digital volume wheel so feels really quality, because it has a little drag, and changing the ear pads is also easy.

There’s just a little lip that the seam goes inside. This headset is supported by the g-hub software. It has a lot of features including simulated surround sound courtesy of DTS headphones X 2.0. Even more this headphone does an outstanding job of presenting both direction and distance with the 2.0 stereo mode.

The audio presentation of the headset in-game is very balanced like gunshots, punches, explosions, footsteps, and reloads. Especially you can feel explosions in the sub-bass. Not only in gaming, but even in music listening this headset is going to be very balanced perfectly.

Because it has 50-millimeter drivers. So now gamers can able to listen to music wirelessly with this gaming headset. The headset microphone does a pretty decent job of filtering out background noise and we can activate blue voice that software not only adds a lot of character to the microphone.

But it allows you to set up presets. Logitech G PRO X Wireless Headset has 20 hours of battery life and it supports Qi charging. When it comes to the overall Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed has a good build quality mic quality and tweaking sound quality both in-game and for music listening. Review

Corsair Void RGB Elite is a wireless gaming headset that comes in two colors which are all carbon and black and the black and white version at an affordable price. The sharp angles of the D-shaped ear cups and the position of the microphone make this headset look like it is made for the ESport.

The headset is mostly comprised of strong plastic and aluminum inside the plastic to reinforce the headband with the proper curve. Ear cups also have been with glossy plastic. So earcups look great and the Corsair RGB logo shines bright on the earcups.

The headset’s microphone has a long rubber stem with more robust plastic and is separated by the LED. The microphone is much easier to get in the desired position. So it is more malleable. The microphone is omnidirectional with a frequency response of 100 Hertz to 10 kilohertz. Hardware controls are better with clever design.

There is a volume scroll wheel on the left ear cup and it is a rocker-style wheel. This volume wheel not only just takes care of volume, but it is also a programmable button for EQ presets. So when you press it you can switch to the EQ and when you hold the port for two seconds. We also can switch between stereo and Dolby 7.1 surround sound as well.

Finally, there is a mute microphone button on the earcup itself. The headset features 10 adjustment steps for 10 different sizes and shaped heads and you can set these on your shoulders. When it comes to the sound of the headset the frequency response feels balanced with decent bass and accurate audio reproduction and fully immersed the mid sounded quite consistent and the treble range also sounded very good. Finally, I can say Corsair Void RGB Elite is a good affordable gaming headset. 10. Audeze Penrose

Audeze Penrose is a gaming headset that looks similar to their flagship Mobius headset. You can buy two different variants of this headset. The first one is for PlayStation 5 and PC versions sporting black and blue colorways. The Xbox version sports black and yellow colorways.

This headset comes with a wireless USB dongle. So it gives you full audio and microphone support for your console and pc. The headset is made out of plastic that feels durable and sturdy and there is faux leather padding on the ear cups and the headband with a detachable microphone.

However, the ear cups and the headband are super comfortable. This headset is very easy to use and we can go ahead and wear it around your neck. Because the ear cups do swivel. As with previous headsets, we can find all of the controls are on the left ear cup.

So, there is a microphone, volume wheel, mic mute switch, and a power button. This power button lets you play pause and you can answer phone calls with a single click. When you double click it enters your Bluetooth pairing mode and if you press and hold for three seconds you either power the headset on or reject the phone call.

Holding the power button for five seconds powers the headset off completely. You also have a multi-function button. It cycles through wireless Bluetooth and auxiliary connections while being guided with voice prompts at the same time. You can enable your wireless dongle pairing mode with a long press of that button.

When it comes to battery life, if you are fully charged with this headset you can get about 15 hours of battery life. There is an auto-off timer feature that when not in use to conserve battery while allowing you to still use this headset when it’s charging. You can get great connectivity with Bluetooth and you don’t have multiple device support but do provide low latency within the range of about 50 feet.

This headset is not only for Bluetooth but also for non-Bluetooth wireless connectivity the headset worked great and was easy to use and it connected each and every single time. When it comes to the sound quality this headset is like a beast the bass, on the other hand, was fantastic along with its accuracy and the mids and lows.

So, it can give you an accurate smooth vocal response when listening to music and gaming. Unfortunately, Audeze Penrose has not had good noise isolation and noise cancellation. According to some users, this headset is probably the best microphone that they ever tested. Because it’s not picking up keyboard clicks.

When we compare the other headset, those headsets don’t have the planar magnetic drivers, and Bluetooth functionality and, don’t even sport the convenience of the Audeze Penrose but Audeze Penrose do have them. These are the factors that some gamers actually prefer. So Audeze Penrose is an expensive headset, but this also is one of the best gaming headsets.
